Pacific Coast Presbytery News and Prayer

02/05/06
Pray that the Lord will grant the congregations of the Pacific Coast Presbytery vitality and strength and vision for church planting! With our congregations being as far apart from one another as they are, we will most likely need to see strength enough in a mother congregation for a plant in its area. Please check back to this site for updates on particular evangelistic efforts in each of the 5 congregations.

Los Angeles Prayer Requests - from Pastor Ken Orr

Posted on June 26, 2006 | Filed under: Pacific Coast

My first ambition is that the people of the Los Angeles Reformed Presbyterian Church would luxuriate in the gospel of Jesus Christ, counting the cross precious to our own souls and motivating all our actions. Then, I desire that we count it a great loss that many live in this world without the gospel and we pray for the salvation of people we know outside of Christ. As we yearn for conversions, we begin to find ways to make the gospel known. We read our Bibles and see the Savior winning people to eternal life. We look at those around us who have the gift of evangelism and learn from them. We see the evangelistic energy of the Body of Christ and imitate it. Evangelism must be a grassroots movement of the church...from the bottom up, not the top down.
